Built by Someone Who Was Tired of Hiring Being Broken

Abdul Qadir spent a decade in tech across Visa, Cloudways, and Rocket Internet. When he started his own agency, he hit a wall: finding great talent that didn't cost a fortune.

Before Bionic Talent, I spent years inside companies that operated globally. At Visa, Cloudways, Rocket Internet, and Jumia Group, I saw firsthand how the best teams were built: by finding great people wherever they happened to be, not just whoever happened to be nearby.

Then I started a digital marketing agency. And everything I knew about hiring stopped working. US talent was expensive. Traditional agencies charged 30–40% of annual salary. Sometimes more than the role itself. And the candidates they sent? Half the time they didn't even fit the brief.

When COVID hit in 2020, remote work went from experiment to expectation overnight. I started sourcing globally (the Philippines, Pakistan, South Africa, Kenya) and found professionals who were sharp, reliable, and available at a fraction of the cost. Not because they were “cheap,” but because cost of living is different. The quality wasn't.

Other agency owners noticed. “Can you find someone for us too?” started as a favor. Then it became a pattern. Then it became Bionic Talent, built on a model I wished had existed when I was looking: a one-time flat fee, a rigorous vetting process, and support that doesn't disappear after placement.

Word spread from agencies to law firms. From law firms to home services companies. The industries changed, but the need was the same: find great people, fast, without the agency tax. Three hundred placements later, that's still exactly what we do.

The Corporate Years

Abdul Qadir builds a career across Visa, Cloudways, Rocket Internet, and Jumia Group. He learns how global teams operate at scale across tech, marketing, and business operations.

The Agency

Launches a digital marketing agency. Growth is strong, but hiring is a constant headache. US talent is expensive, and existing recruitment agencies charge 30–40% of salary for each placement.

COVID Changes Everything

Remote work explodes overnight. The world proves that great work doesn't require a shared office. Abdul starts sourcing talent globally and discovers exceptional professionals in the Philippines, Pakistan, South Africa, and Kenya.

2021

The First Placements

What started as solving his own hiring problem becomes a service. Fellow agency owners start asking: 'Can you find someone for us too?' Bionic Talent is born. One flat fee. No markup. No BS.

2022

Word of Mouth Spreads

Digital marketing agencies keep referring more agencies. The model works. Clients save 70%+ on talent costs while getting candidates who actually perform. The team grows to support demand.

2023

New Industries

Law firms discover Bionic Talent through agency clients. Then home services companies. The same model (pre-vetted offshore talent at a flat fee) works across industries. 50+ role types and counting.
